The Official Chuck Jones Virtual Experience proudly presents “Come and Get Me, Tough Guy,” a limited-edition artwork by Tom Everhart. Everhart is the only artist authorized to use PEANUTS® characters created by Charles M. Schulz.

Tom Everhart (1952–present) began illustrating Schulz’s characters and, in 1991, received exclusive lifetime rights to bring PEANUTS imagery into fine art. His international career, including a debut at the Louvre Museum, celebrates the humor, emotion, and timeless appeal of Schulz’s creations.

Come and Get Me, Tough Guy captures the raw energy, scale, and expressive power collectors have come to expect from Everhart’s most compelling releases. The artwork translates Schulz’s iconic imagery through Everhart’s unmistakable contemporary lens, balancing nostalgia with painterly intensity.

Before creating this image, Everhart revisited the entire PEANUTS archive searching for appearances of a camera, one of the rarest visual elements ever drawn by Charles M. Schulz. Only two cameras appear in the original comic strips. This Snoopy work reimagines one of those uncommon moments, transforming a subtle historical reference into a bold contemporary statement unique to Everhart’s vision.

Tom Everhart went through the entirety of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts looking for any drawings of a camera that he could use as reference, and this camera is one of only two that he ever put in the strip.
