This rare limited edition artwork was created by animation director-artist, Chuck Jones from his vast portfolio of original and limited edition works of art.
The inspiration for this work of art came from an original oil painting by Chuck Jones. Chuck Jones with his writer, Michael Maltese, developed the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote as spoofs of chase movies that were popular at the time. Turns out that’s not why people liked the cartoons and this Desert Duo soon became two of the most beloved cartoon characters ever created.
