The Official Chuck Jones Virtual Experience is pleased to offer LOONEY TUNE fans a “Lunch Launch” Limited Edition work by Daniel Killen.

The California artist, Daniel Killen (1965-present) is a feature animation artist best known for his work on The Iron Giant (1999), Osmosis Jones (2001), and The Prince of Egypt (1998). Killen works with the Chuck Jones Gallery bringing to canvas such inspired Warner Bros. properties as The Wizard of Oz, A Christmas Story, The Iron Giant, and the classic Looney Tunes characters Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, Daffy Duck, and the Road Runner.

Greatly influenced by such artistic giants as Norman Rockwell, Edward Hopper, Frank Frazetta, and Chuck Jones, Daniel incorporates sly wit, poetic beauty, and adventurous themes into his work. He brings his whimsical sense of humor, pleasing colors, and clever layout to all his creative endeavors.

In 2018, Daniel was chosen by the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta to create the poster for the 2018 Fiesta and to conceptualize and execute the designs for future posters leading up to the 50th Anniversary of the Fiesta in 2021. Daniel Killen is truly a master artist-illustrator in the art world!

This rare limited edition artwork was created by master artist, Daniel Killen from his vast portfolio of original and limited edition works of art.

The inspiration for this work of art came from an original work by Daniel Killen who was the official artist of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta for the years 2018-2022 (its 50th anniversary). Killen was commissioned to create a story arc involving Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner as they spend a day at the Balloon Fiesta.

The second work in the Balloon Fiesta series, “Lunch Launch,” is full of traditional Killen iconography, and finds the Coyote chasing his nemesis (and lunch), the Road Runner as the balloons fill the sky over Albuquerque.

“I am thrilled to have been chosen by the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta to represent the spirit and joy of the first Fiesta and the 50th coming in 2021,” said Killen.

The Limited Edition artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
