The ‘Rabbit of Seville’ is a classic Warner Bros. Looney Tunes animated short film, released on December 16, 1950, directed by Chuck Jones and written by Michael Maltese. This classic cartoon features Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd, hilariously synchronizing their antics with the musical overture from Rossini’s opera ‘The Barber of Seville.’
In 1994, it earned the 12th spot on “The 50 Greatest Cartoons” list in North America, voted on by animation professionals.
