This rare limited edition artwork was created by animation director-artist, Chuck Jones from his vast portfolio of original and limited edition works of art.
The inspiration for this work of art came from an original by Chuck Jones based on the 1957 animated film, What’s Opera, Doc? directed by Jones and written by Michael Maltese.
Starring Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd, it was the first cartoon inducted into the National Film Registry of the Smithsonian Institute in 1992. The 50 Greatest Cartoons by Jerry Beck listed “What’s Opera, Doc?” as the number one favorite animated film as voted by 1000 animation critics, artists, and aficionados.
